Status Update
Over the next three months, we’re prioritising action on anti-social vehicle use and speeding in our community. This includes tackling vehicles with loud exhausts, dangerous driving, and speeding that puts lives at risk. You’ll see more high-visibility patrols in hotspot areas, targeted checks on vehicles, and enforcement against those breaking the law. We’ll also work in partnership with local authorities and road safety teams to reduce harm and keep our streets safe for everyone.

We will be increasing our police presence in ASB hotspots such as parks and residential areas and responding swiftly to reports of nuisance behaviour, harassment, and public disturbances.

We are increasing our knowledge and capability of our local policing team by adding more specialist rural and wildlife officers. We will also be using the Rural Crime Team to follow-up on reports of serious acquisitive crime and investigate them positively.
